The Power of Purging

Embrace the wisdom of letting go. It is time to release heavy attachments that deplete you and bleed away your joy. So often we hold onto things much longer than we need to. When you have outgrown something release it. When you hold on to things you keep blessings and gifts at bay.

Evaluate the people, objects, feelings, beliefs and ideas you are holding onto. Have you outgrown any? What is choking the life from your dreams, wishes and goals?

Allow the black holes in your life to come into your awareness… what is sucking up, absorbing and consuming your energy, vitality, and enthusiasm? Trust your intuition. Usually the fist thing that comes to mind is the right thing. Begin your purging there!

Allow this message to settle in! Especially with the retrograde in force… we are looking toward the old, and wrapping things up. Mend all holes. Allow the soft light of the Divine to wrap around you, and wash away the negative and bring about healing.

Now is the perfect time to check in. See where you are, and where you are going. An intuitive reading, or a Reiki session is great ways to really evaluate where you are and create a path toward your wellbeing.

Have No Fear

Fear is one of the most crippling emotions we experience. Are you allowing your fears to get in the way of your most precious dreams? Spirit wants you to know that you are safe now. Repeat to yourself, “I am safe. I am free. I can pursue my dreams.”

Fear can be your friend at times, but once it has run its course you have to let it go. Don’t hold on to things that are limiting you, or keeping you static. You are rising from your apprehension, and moving into an active space. Be honest with yourself about what you want.

A beautiful white knight is about to ride into your life, bring with him a gift. Now is the time for goals to be realized. The timing is spot on! You will be called to receive the treasure you have anxiously been awaiting.

With honor and gratitude take this gift. Allow yourself to be powerful, beautiful and filled with grace!

You are safe and secure in your power!

Keeping Composure

We shift and create our own reality, telling our energetic story based on our thoughts, ideas, beliefs and fears. Sometimes we can’t always change the immediate situation. When it is particularly difficult, I remind myself that I am in control of my reaction to that experience.

I find that this bit of wisdom is most needed when we are in the middle of a change. We constantly ask the Universe for something new, whether it is in the area of love, money, health, family or spirituality… but when the change begins we start to feel as if we are falling a part. Chaos is the metaphorical goddess of change; bring with her the seed of something new.

There is no change without uncertainty. Remind yourself that manifesting and change go hand in hand, and that change by nature isn’t static. Learn to dance with change. Take Chaos by the hand and treat her to a slow dance or something a little more wild.

I want you to repeat daily:

“My life is shifting, growing and moving in the direction of my highest good. My mind and heart are open to the dance of change.”

The Gypsy Talks: Energy June 21

Do you realize you’re always telling an energetic story?

That energetic story is narrated by your thoughts, feelings, ideas, beliefs and fears. It dictates the atmosphere of your life. The things you are bring in and pushing out. The energetic story you are telling may not be the one you want to tell.

This could be the cause of unhappiness, failed ventures, and lack of motivation, or love… or whatever else you keep reaching for, but never get your hands on.

Do you want to be happy? Do you want to manifest the life you want?

When you know your energetic story, you can consciously create the things you desire.

The Gypsy Talks: Energy will cover 3 areas

  1. What energetic story are you telling?
  2. How can you clear blocks of energy?
  3. How can you direct energy to get what you want?

We will discuss how your thinking is adding or taking away from your awesome life! How to perform spiritual cleansing and protection to clear the slate of negative energy. And, we will talk about techniques such as a vision board for manifestation, and a few other morsels of magical stuff!

We will discuss these key areas as a group, and allow space for questions to be asked!

When:

June 21 2014 1:00-3:00

The Darkness

Life is a series of cycles. There are ups and downs, backs and forth. There is a strange feeling of limbo that you feel will never break. There are times when things feel hot, arid and dry. And then there are the times when you are caught in the storm. The most memorable of times are when you are in the dark.

Dancing in the dark is something we all must do. You have to befriend the night.

What is the dark?

The dark is that space within and around you where you feel abandoned, lost and confused. It is that space where you feel completely out of control… poked and prodded by chaos and fear.

The dark is really the beginning and the end. The alpha and omega. The dark is the womb of creation. The tomb of destruction. The cave of regeneration. You fall into the dark when you are stepping out of your box. You are pushed in the dark when you are growing beyond your personal limitations.

The Tower card in the Tarot is a symbol of the dark. The illustration shows a huge tower looming over the ocean… mighty, strong, tall, and indestructible… yet the foundation is cracked. The top is struck by lightening. The invincible monolith is destroyed, and it topples into the ocean. It symbolizes the ending of beliefs posing as facts. The ending of life as you know it!

You must learn to dance in the dark. If you stand still and make no move or sound… you will eventually become a shadow. You’ve seen people who’ve been consumed by the dark, letting fears, addiction, pain and psychosis take their lives. This isn’t to point the finger, or to be accusatory. Some people struggle because their soul chose that as their journey.

But if you learn to dance in the dark, you will marry the night. The dark is one big, crazy disco. You may not always like the song, but if you let the rhythm (intuition) guide you… you’re sure to get the next place. Sometimes you have to slow grind, sometimes you have to twerk, sometimes you have to waltz in the dark!

The dark, the unknown, the night, the chaos… it isn’t your enemy… no matter how much you misunderstand it, or fight it. You will realize in time that it is your friend. It test your limits, pushes you to the breaking point… and shows you what you’re really made of.

Remember even in the dark you have a little spark of light inside of you. So close your eyes and glow in the dark. Listen to the beat, and move yourself through to the end.

Dream Gypsy Boy… Dream

Photo on 2012-03-29 at 21.31 #4There is magic in trying, but not knowing. Sometimes you have to close your eyes and go along for the ride. I have danced in the dark many times… and some how I have always came out unscathed. My scars are badges that mark the successes of my journey. You may not see the strength in your beauty as you go through life… because it’s not always easy to see the road you’ve traveled unless you learn to fly overhead.

It’s not worth trying to rationalize the dreams we have. I’m finished with reason and sensibility… it’s not what seems logical, it’s what feels wonderful. I am living my life for me, for all the things I love, for what makes me vital. If it feeds my spirit then it’s right. Regardless of how insane that may seem.

There should be no regret in heeding the call. It may be misunderstood, but then again that is in the eyes of onlookers… and you should never do it for them anyway. I’ve traveled the edge of dreamland and stood astounded by the glory and mystery. Those moments live in my heart, delicious seeds germinating in silence. The dream hasn’t ended because the dream has just begun.

Here I stand in the threshold of what was, what is, what will be… what has always been, and yet hasn’t had a chance to begin. And here I will jump of the ledge and the embrace of angel wings will lift me up beyond the pain. I will soar, you can soar, there is room enough for us all to fill the skies… there can never be too many stars shinning in the night.

Reach out your hand, close your eyes, and dive. Don’t play the game, just jump in and dance. You can’t change their actions, or reactions, you can only grind to your own rhythm. And remember… if you do it in love, if you do it in trust, if you do it because it feels right to your heart… then it will touch everyone around you in a positive way, either now or someday, and magic will bloom until it fills the room, the eyes and the spirits of everyone.

He said… dream gypsy boy… dream

Touching the Divine: Praying With Tarot

Prayer is touching the Divine with reverence…giving your hopes, fears and dreams to the Divine, and then listening. Most people pray daily, whether or not it’s a sacred solemn hour of prayer or quick “note to God” in the car… most people pray! But what they don’t do is listen.

When you pray you must listen, and not only listen but also find the heart of your prayer! Most prayers are superficial, not to say they come from a superficial place, but most prayers only touch the surface of what is really stifling a person. You must explore the depth of what you are asking for.

Have you ever thought about praying with Tarot? The cards are a language for you to communicate with the Universe. So why not touch the Divine by praying with the Tarot? The beauty here is that you create a dialogue with the Universe. You pray and the Universe speaks.

Passivity in prayer is a downfall. The Universe asks you to be a co-creator in your reality. You aren’t a helpless puppet falling prey to the whim sand fancy of some person in the sky! You are a vibrant, energetic being, casting beautiful rays into the world! You are DIVINE! You must pray like you are divine!

Prayer is a partnership! Pray as a creator. Pray and listen. Pray and communicate! Don’t pray like you are entitled… or helpless! There are those moments when you feel you are breaking, when in desperation you have to call out to the creator and beg for salvation. It’s human nature to reach out in our darkest hour… when we see nothing before us. Even in those moments of despair your must learn to listen. To ask for the answers and listen.

When I pray with Tarot I come to the moment as if I am meeting an old, wise friend. I open my heart and mind. I allow myself to be moved by wonder. I hold my cards in my hand. I call out to the Divine with prayer. Then, I let the Divine speak back through the cards. I ask and listen. I question. Moving closer to the heart of my need.

Do not just open the door with prayer; use Tarot to invite the wisdom of the Universe and your guides in. Tarot is a bridge for you to communicate with the Universe… and your soul.

Take an active approach. Instead of asking to receive something, pray by asking questions.

You may call out to the Divine begging for a romantic partner, “I am lonely, please, bring me someone I can love!” Take a different approach, instead of making a request; probe deeper,

Say, “Help me to see the source of my loneliness.”

Now pull 3 cards. What do you see? What clarity did the cards bring? Did your perspective change? Is it a romantic partner that you need to ease your loneliness? Or is there something else? What block has stifled you?

Respond back. Pull a card that represents your response. This is a symbolic gesture that you’ve heard the Universe. Reiterate to the Universe what you’ve discovered by asking!

Maybe you choose the 3 of Cups because you realize now that you need to celebrate your life, appreciate your circle of friends, and enjoy being spontaneous.

Continue your dialogue. Poke and prod. Go deeper. Ask more questions. There is no limit to what you can ask. There are no stupid questions. The more you ask, the more you understand. Clarity is the essence of prayer.

Next you could ask, “What can I do to ease my loneliness?” or “How can I move forward now that I understand the source of my loneliness?”

As with a reading, the better the question, the more specific the question, the clearer the answer.

Dig to the roots of your prayer. Change = Shifting energy. You must understand the source of the “problem” before you can change it. I’m reminded of Rumpelstiltskin… if you know the true name of a thing you have power over it!

So what cards come up? What is your next step? Your situation should be clearer.

Next you can layout your path. This is the way you wish to move forward. The Universe does not require specific instructions. Layout your intended path with the cards… the Universe will workout the details. Ask yourself how you want the energy to flow? What feels good?

Place at least 3 cards down in a line. These are your stepping-stones. Lay them out, contemplating how they reflect the shift you are making. This is a visual representation of your shift. Take a photograph of these cards… refer back to them.

You can ask the Universe to respond to your “proposed” path. Asking, “Does this path align with my prayer?”

Trust yourself! Trust what feels good! You are having a Q&A with the Universe. You are engaging with your destiny! Own your destiny! Consciously manifest.

Do you feel empowered now? Does it feel different to be involved in your prayer? Do you enjoy this approach?

The Universe likes partnership. This approach helps you shift energy. No more dumping a load of request in the lap of the Divine. You are becoming active. Shifting energy is the key to affective prayer!!

You can utter a million beautiful words while knelling in the darkness at your bedside… but unless you know the heart of what you are asking… unless you are willing to make a change and take responsibility…  there isn’t much that can be done.

Understanding Intuition: Insight Fifteen

There is a constant stream of thoughts, words and ideas running through our head creating an inner dialogue. In order to tap into your intuition, you must learn to separate your inner voice, from the conglomerated chatter of the world around you (people, TV, radio, co-workers, past conversations). Take time for silence to allow your inner dialogue to unwind, and disentangle from the chaos. In silence you can hear the whispers of intuition, and eventually they will be loud and clear.

Understanding Intuition: Insight Fourteen

The future is fluid…a pulsing, ever changing thing. Nothing is set in stone. You have within your power the ability to manipulate energy, meaning you can influence the tides of what’s to come in your life. Instead of feeling helpless at the arms of fate, you can look the future fearlessly in the eye! The more conscious you are of your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs the more consciously you can manifest. With that being said there are things that you will need to experience, whether you like it or not! We all have a map to follow on our journey, you have a destination/lesson to learn, but the paths to that lesson are as numerous as the routes to Florida!

Understanding Intuition: Insight Thirteen

Intuition is a compass to navigate through the dark and the light. Intuition links us in with the Universe so we can avert disaster, and sail smoothly to our dreams. Respect intuition, do NOT treat it like a parlor trick (not to say intuition isn’t fun!). I remind my clients that, “A reading is meant to help you consciously manifest the life you want”. Intuition helps you to see the road markers along the way.
