Intuition is your inner navigation. It teaches you how to be in the present moment. Instead of worrying about what has been or what will be, you can tap into your intuition and learn to just dance. This is like finding the rhythm of a song and just letting yourself groove. If you trust your intuition right now, it will lead you in the direction that supports your dreams and goals. When you question your intuition, you become lost on your journey, and ultimately have to back track.

Do you wonder why you can’t get someone off your mind? Are you frustrated with your dreams? Do things seem to be going all wrong? Are you chronically dealing with an unresolved issue?
I have some secrets to share…
First, you need to understand energy. You need to understand how to use energy. Energy is currency. You give your energy to specific people, places, things, ideas, feelings, beliefs, fears, etc. You invest your energy the way you invest money.
When you make an energetic investment you have to ask yourself, “Is this going to pay off?” Because if it’s not then you’ve wasted vital energy. You want your energetic investments to feed your energy, to help it multiply! If your investments multiply, then you can invest in new things.
You make an energetic investment every time you take something to be true. You make an energetic investment every time you make yourself responsible for something. You make an energetic investment every time you dwell on something. You make an energetic investment every time you are afraid of something. And on and on it goes.
If you aren’t aware of your energetic investments, then you quickly have nothing! You feel stifled. You feel impoverished. You feel angry. You feel lethargic. You will as though nothing you want in life ever happens!
When you make an energetic investment, you make a commitment to give your energy to something. Will it pay off?
Energetic investments don’t stop at the initial transaction they are a continuous commitment. When you commit to someone in a relationship, you energetically invest in them… you establish a cord between your heart and theirs. You’ve given them a direct pipeline to your essence.
Ah! Now you see why negative relationships will age you, take your health, and make your whole world go dark. When you are in a negative relationship the other person is siphoning your life force away… leaving you with nothing! Pretty soon you will be hungry, without the strength to find sustenance.
Feed your energy! Don’t deplete your energy.
You want to be picky about who you attach yourself to. You want to be picky about the thoughts you choose to think. You want to be picky about the story you tell yourself. You want to be picky about the fears you entertain.
You’ve been given a certain amount of energetic currency. Use it wisely. It’s like mom and dad gave you your weekly allowance… you don’t want to spend it all in one place! Be conscious of what you invest in, be conscious of what you are manifesting.
If you are feeling stuck ask yourself why. Are you investing in something depleting? Do you need to unplug from something? Are you being careless with your energy? Are you entertaining worn-out thoughts and ideas?
Why are you starving for energy?
Invest your energetic currency in things that multiply and feed you.
Sit down today and look at what you’ve invested in. Before you can make your dreams happen you have to unplug from all the dead ends and dead beats…then plug into the good stuff!
Practice spiritual cleansing to release these negative energies. Be conscious of your thinking.
Figure out what story is playing in your head, heart and spirit.

Tea leaf reading is an ancient and magical art that taps into the deep, rich world of the psyche giving insight, guidance and creative prompts. Tea leaf reading has its roots in Asia and the Middle East and has been practiced by everyone from Royalty to housewives, and was considered a pass-time by the victorian ladies at high noon tea. Not only is it a rewarding and extremely insightful process, it’s beautiful and entertaining.
Anyone who’s enjoyed a nice cup of tea can attest to how relaxing and peaceful it is. Imagine taking that process to another level. As you enjoy your cup of loose leaf tea, you infuse it with your essence, creating a catalyst that allows the tea to “paint” pictures and images in the bottom of your cup. From there I will string together symbols to give you insight into key points in your life (past, present, future).
Tea leaf reading is one of my favorite forms of divination because of the ambience and atmosphere it creates. All readings come from the same intuitive place, so a tea leaf reading and a Tarot reading will yield similar results, but tea leaf readings tend to captivate people because it is a very creative, lyrical and moving experience. If you’ve never had the opportunity to have a tea leaf reading you should treat yourself to the experience!

LA, LA Land
Sticky, hot, wet feelings of fame and illusion hang heavy in the air. There is something deceptively titillating about this place. Everything shines even through the smog and grim cover it with a protective film. Maybe there is a need for things to be hidden under layers of dust. This is what protects the original dream of shinning lights and real life fantasies.
I remember looking down and seeing the city of LA burning like a bed of embers in a black void. The lights of houses, the lights of dreams, the lights of misery, the lights of mystery… they were sparks in my dead of night, sending chills through my body and soul, they made my heart stop a little.
Coming here has been a pilgrimage. Maybe even a coming of age. I always find myself in new places. I am a nomad. There is always a new experience to be had; a new place to explore. I am uncovering facets of who I am. I am finding pieces of my destiny. This place is part of my destiny.
Being here has ignited a candle that has waited patiently to burn within me. I am taking the hand of destiny and allowing myself to float away. Things will come to me. Things come to those who are willing to be brave. I am praying to be brave enough to see what’s next. I am praying to be strong enough to do what I am called to do.
The time is almost up and I will return home, I know this place will be another home in my heart….though I know gypsies never really have homes, only places that make them feel safe and alive for awhile. I’m in no rush to be anywhere. But I am anxious to get back to the things that really feed my inner being.
It’s clear to me now how much we know about our destiny if we only stand still for a few moments, silence our fears and listen to the voice within. I have known things my whole life, maybe not in their entirety, but at least as a little seed, a feeling. Now that I trust these morsel of truth, doors are opening.
I came here to be a story-teller. I’m not always sure how I will tell the story, or whose story it will be… but I trust in the wind and where it takes me. So I am standing here on the edge of something greater than we can ever know, I am spreading my arms and letting myself fall into unseen wings.

Spiritual Message/ Update 6/28/2011
Dear friends,
I have finally made it here to London; I know I’ve been talking about it for a bit now. It’s so exciting to be writing to you from here. The weather is a little dreary, but still the energy in the air is amazing. So many magical things have happened so far, and I know the whole trip will be the same.
I wanted to give everyone a few updates because it is still so important to me to stay in touch with you.
- First I would like to let you know that I am still doing readings. I CAN do them while I am here in London. So please don’t hesitate to contact me to schedule an appointment. We will be doing sessions via email, skype or phone. Because of international calling I have a special number to use for phone sessions, but there will be a small fee to cover the minute usage.
- I would also like to invite you to follow my blog, if you aren’t already. It would be so wonderful to see new comments, questions and stories there. I have been sharing a lot of my experiences here in London on the blog shaheenmiroinsights.wordpress.com and you can find other spiritual and inspiring information there.
- I will be returning to the states in the beginning of September. Once I return I will be planning classes and other exciting events. I really want to do a tea party to give an intro to Tea Leaf Reading and to also do readings for everyone. Please email me if you are interested.

Spiritual Message
There is no easier way to get what you want than to communicate. If you don’t communicate your wishes, feelings and desires than no one knows how to accommodate you, including the universe! You must clearly state what you want in life.
The key to manifestation is to not only communicate what you want, but to communicate it clearly, concisely and consistently! You really have to tailor your thoughts and actions to the kind of life you want. If you constantly say you want to have a new house, but then turn around and tell yourself you will never have the money or opportunity to get away… then that’s exactly what you will get.
You have to be clear and avoid contradicting yourself. The Universe is a machine that gives you what you command it. It has no emotional connection to the outcomes it creates… you are the one who controls it. It does have an intelligence and sometimes it knows better than we, so things may work out different than we had intended, but it still only follows the energy that you send out. So please be mindful of that in pursuing your goals and dreams.

Monthly Tarot Card: The Lovers
Ah! The Lovers… most people light up when they see this card. Bright eyed and excited they say, “So a new love is coming into my life then… right? That’s what The Lovers means doesn’t it?”, Whoa! Slow down… not necessarily. This card has more than the superficial meanings when it shows up.
The Lovers card is often depicted with a man and woman lovingly embracing or being married, with angelic beings hanging overhead. This card heralds in great energy, anticipation and spiritual connection, but it also sends to us a challenge.
The Lovers card is more than just loving relationships; The Lovers card brings to us a choice. As there are two lovers, there are two paths. You must choose the one that is best for you. In every relationship there is the choice to commit and the choice to walk away.
The things I want to make clear is that The Lovers card doesn’t have to mean that a love relationship is coming into your life, it can and often it does, but on a deeper level it speaks of a challenge that you must devote much thought and energy to. Just as the lovers are graced by an angel over heard, you must know that there will be divine guidance with you and Universal order will always prevail… whether you take the long route or the short one.
When showing up in a reading The Lovers usually remind us that we have power in every situation, no matter how powerless we may feel. The path you are on now and the path you will take are all laid out by the choice that you make. We are on a constant journey and on some level we have pulled into our life the things that we need to learn and experience.
I feel that this card shows up when you are at a crossroad and in need of picking a path, a side or in need of a conclusion. If you receive this card, know that you need to take action instead of sitting around and waiting. Each decision you make trust in your intuition and know that each time you embrace your inner guidance… your spiritual relationship with yourself grows deeper and deeper.
I want you to affirm, “Each choice I make is rooted in my spiritual guidance and the wisdom of the universe. I walk down my next path, knowing I take one step closer to Spirit.”
