How to Manifest the Life You Want

Lately I have taken the time to focus on what I’m putting energy into, what I’m intending into my reality. I’ve made a conscious effort to align myself with spirit daily. The more connected I begin to feel the more spiritually cleansed and empowered I am. The expression, “Prayer is the act of asking spirit and meditation is the act of listening” has really held true for me.

I have always known that our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality. Not only do they shape the experiences we have in our daily lives, but also they shape our health. Each issue that we have in our body is a reflection of the things that we are holding in our spirit as the truth.

It all begins with energy; the energy of your words, your actions, you feelings, beliefs and fears. Whatever you allow to enter into your awareness on a daily bases becomes the commands that our psyche follows and whatever the psyche internalizes becomes the fabric of our reality. Whatever you energetically hold as the truth intricately weaves into existence the life that you now know.

This process begins in the mind and the emotions. We start to develop psychological patterns, many of which begin at a very young age (from the time you are born until you are around 5 is the key time of internalizing patterns). It is these psychological patterns that begin to weave into our energy field.

If you hold limiting and negative psychological patterns as your truth, then your health is sure to suffer. I know that I have had many experiences where this has held true. From a small cold, to losing your voice, to larger health concerns!

I’ve had a few “twilight” periods where I had to, not only focus on my emotional health, but physically my body needed to heal and regain its strength. I worked hard to cycle out emotional debris of pain, hurt and fear. At one point I found myself covered in large inflamed bumps that ran from my spine around my side. They were extremely painful and appeared over night. I saw a doctor and discovered that I had shingles. I instantly knew that this was a physical response from my psyche trying to ride itself of toxins. The negative energy that had built within me literally bubbled to the surface.

Whenever you develop an illness, disease or any sort of physical trauma you need to instantly ask yourself, “What have I allowed into my mind and spirit?” It is when we internalize a mental/emotional pattern that it becomes part of our psyche/spirit and starts to affect the body and on a larger scale.

Your life and health is the manifestation of all the things that you hold as your personal truths. This means that you are the one in control, even if you may not feel that way. You have to realize how much power you have and work to undo what can be a lifetime of negative manifestation.

  • Recognize what energetic cords your have created. Energetic cords are the things that we energetically attach ourselves to. They are the results of psychological patterns. For example: If you tend to have negative relationships, a cord has developed between you and your dysfunctional partner; which has allowed them to take your energy and in some cases you to take theirs.

This could be an underlying pattern of feeling unloved, for example. Maybe you have accepted into your psyche the “truth” that you will never find someone who accepts you. In turn you may have recently developed a heart issue. So in order to clear your life of negative lovers and your body of a broken heart, you must change the belief that you have internalized.

  • There is an esoteric law that says, “When one thing is moved in time and space, another thing must fill its place.” So if you are to dissolve the belief that you are “unlovable”, you must then adopt a new truth.

Once you have worked with yourself, very patiently, you can rearrange your beliefs and recreate your life. This process of healing starts with a few things.

The two most important that I have found are forgiveness and gratitude.

  • Forgiveness allows you to cut the energetic cords that may exist between you and the limiting beliefs that have over taken your life so that you can regain your power and consciously manifest. I worked extensively on forgiveness when I was healing. When the negative energy that I had taken into my spirit bubbled to the surface, I had to forgive myself for letting such negative energy into my life, and forgive the people that I thought were suppose to love me and protect me for not being able to live up to the roles that I had assigned them.

By forgiving I no longer had any expectations for others or myself that would allow guilt to build. I was able to internalize the truth that people do the best they can at any given time.

  • Gratitude is like the sunshine to the seed. If you shine your light of gratitude onto the things that you have manifested into your life then you will begin to get more of what you have. Your prosperity, health and love will all multiply. Gratitude comes after forgiveness.

You must be honest, patient and willing to change in order for these things to work.If you are interested in actively manifesting the life you want keep a journal and begin by asking these questions:

What in your life has been bothering you?

What has really been eating at you, occupying your daily thoughts?

What problems continually reoccur in your life?

What chronic health problems do you have?

Who in your life really bothers you?

What do you dislike about yourself?

Remember that people, illnesses and events are all mirrors to the things that we have accepted as our truths and internalized into our spirits. If something is chronic in your life, whether it is a person, an illness or a problem that reoccurs you have not taken the time to ask what it represents.

Some things are simple to understand. A heart problem can be that you’ve cut yourself off from love because you feel you don’t deserve it. You may never be content at your job because you are not fulfilling your desires to be creative, because you believe that you have to work “hard” to make money. Look at your life closely from a place of love, with a desire to heal and see what doesn’t feel “right”. That’s where you must start the change.

The counter question to the above questions is:

If whatever reoccurring things in your life were a metaphor for something, what would it mean to you?

Be very honest with yourself. It’s only with honestly that you can heal.

By understanding the symbolic language of what is manifesting in your life you can find the truth that you have internalized and change it, so that you may manifest the life you want.

Affirm daily, “I am empowered by my personal truths. I am the master of my reality. I consciously create the life that I want with love and gratitude.”

I hope these techniques offer something for your spiritual practice! Please, let me know if you have any other questions.

3 Ways to Increase Your Intuition

3 Easy Ways To Increase Your Intuition

How can you increase your intuition to make better decisions and live more authentically? Here are 3 ways that quickly jumpstart your intuition, and help you to recognize and listen!

  1. Movement. When you move your body, you learn to trust it. Every person’s body works in a different way. It has a different swagger and rhythm. This is the language that intuition uses to get your attention. You are made of many layers of energy called, the Aura. These layers are manipulated and affected by your thoughts and feelings, they begin to manifest into physical conditions in the body. This is your higher self-talking to your “lower” self. Listen to your body. All the different aches and pains.
    1. Have you recently had a cold? Or some other aliment that came on out of nowhere? Recently I lost my voice after a long period of stress and hard work. I honored it as my body’s way of saying… be silent and still. I fought it for a bit, because I am a talker! But the moment I surrendered to my body everything changed for the better. Honor your ailments and illnesses because they are giving you a message.
    2. Do you exercise? Yoga is my number one way to connect my body, mind and spirit! Yoga is a built in physical exercise and meditation. When you are doing yoga poses you cannot do anything but be present, and when you aren’t present you can see it quickly! Try doing a 10-minute yoga session every morning.
  1. Stillness. This is a common idea among spiritual people. Stillness and silence allow your mind chatter to dissipate. You cannot hear your intuition if your head is filled with a bunch of loud and unimportant voices. Often times we cannot hear our intuition because we have more demanding voices running through our minds, and our intuition is that subtle, still and (most of the time) small voice. Though it get’s louder the more you hone in on it!
    1. Meditation is the traditional way to achieve stillness. This is something we should all do. There is a misconception that meditation is clearing your mind. NO. Meditation is allowing your mind to unravel and just being an observer. You can meditate while you walk. While you shower. While you do the dishes. Try some form of meditation 10 minutes a day for a week!
    2. Sleep!! Yes, sleep will help you connect with your intuition. The more rested you are, the more sleep you allow yourself to have, the more you begin to problem solve and connect with your intuition. Intuition has a hard time penetrating our psyche when we are overly fatigued and foggy. When you get your 8 hours you are helping yourself in the long run!
  1. Eating well! Duh! Most of us could eat better. It helps you in every area of your life. When you eat processed, junky food you are dulling your energetic receptors and creating stagnant energy. Not to mention you just feel gross. See what happens when you eat fresh foods!
    1. Water is one of the best things you can ingest to connect with your intuition. Make sure you are drinking plenty of fresh, spring water. Get your 8 glasses… or whatever amount they say is healthy now! Water is a conductor that helps energy travel. This will allow you to sense and experience intuitive impressions.

I hope these techniques offer you a solid and easy place to begin trusting your intuition and using it in your daily life! Please, let me know if you have any other questions.

Purging

I’ve been feeling a little bit ungrounded lately, trying to juggle myself between school, life, and all the things in between. Sometimes I feel like I need a respite from it all, just a little more time to allow myself to be… in silence and healing. Sometimes I imagine the strong and gentle arms of the universe cradling me, with warm and loving embrace and a lullaby that calms my heart and soul. I wish I could stay in those moments forever.

The 11 of Diamonds. Walking a thin line, between contrasting worlds. Stress and tension. It may be time to come down and rest.

It may be wise for me to invest in a mental health day, just to lay around in my pjs and read or do something that is carefree. I am in dire need of a recharge. I think that this time of the year always lends itself to letting go of things… it’s a time of purging the old and the worn out. I have been in an intense process of alchemy for some time now, London was a huge part of this, and now that I am back the change continues… but I am now really learning to let go.

Part of me is saddened by this process of letting go because it means that I not only have to let go of worn out ideas and beliefs, but also people. Sometimes we out grow our time together and we have to say goodbye, with love and thanks… we cherish the good that comes with a friendship/partnership and then it’s time to move on and we have to keep the good with us… but it’s never easy.

I have been learning to not take things so personally from other people because we are all doing the best we an at the time, but I am however learning to take better care of myself. I am learning that I teach people how to treat me, how to love me, how to respect me… and if it’s not how I want to be treated then I have to make a change. Now is the time for me to wave goodbye to the old ones, the dying legends. I want to recover the parts of me that have been buried under dust.

For some time I haven’t been writing here because I just haven’t known what to say, but I hope that can change soon. I want to share everything, and I want to know all the facets of your story as well. For me I’ve needed a bit of rest from writing because I’ve needed to be with my feelings on the inside. Lately I haven’t felt that inspired, school especially has been hard. I feel like I am not hearing my muse… and sometimes I feel like I am recycling old ideas. I have always said that the chronic things in our lives are teachers that we have decided to ignore… maybe I should ask myself what I’m not learning.

I know that this time of year is about letting go, like I said we are purging for the rest of winter. How are you feeling? Is there anything that you are trying to let go of? Maybe it would help if you wrote it down somewhere… maybe write an “unsent” letter to yourself, or the person who you are feeling trouble with. Allow yourself to release, even if it feels scary. You will feel much lighter if you trust in the process… I am trying to do that very thing.

Many blessings to all of you… to the gypsies
