The magical part of life is that you are in a constant state of motion. You are a divine being experiencing your own divinity! You incarnate to learn and experience, and before your incarnation you create a “map” that details the different events of your life to lead you to spiritual growth, and “enlightenment”.
In this life you will have mapped out many things. Some of the lessons you have mapped out will be physical obstacles, dealing with health, security and safety. Others will be mental/emotional dealing with relationships, addictions, beliefs and fears. Or spiritual obstacles dealing with faith, religion and issues of your own divinity.
On your map you will have strategically placed the right people, the right places and the right events to help you to achieve your goals of spiritual growth. Like a geographic map, you will have created alternate routes in order to fulfill your journey.
There is a secret: Your pace of learning is completely up to you.
It may not always seem that way when you are in the process of living your map, but on a spiritual level your soul is constantly being guided. You choose how fast or slow you get to your mapped out destination.
The more conscious you are of your spiritual state, and the concept of your map, the faster you can grow and learn spiritually. The quickest way to travel your map is through trusting your intuition, and consciously manifesting (through prayer, spellwork, and a regular spiritual practice).
Your intuition is your spiritual navigation system. It is constantly trying to link you to the smoothest and most effective path to your spiritual experiencing.
To help you connect to your intuition create a daily routine. Here are a few suggestions:
–Spend at least 15 minutes a day in meditation and prayer. Meditation is an opportunity for your mind to slow down, and your intuition to leak into your awareness. Prayer is a way of creating dialogue with the Divine. Open yourself up to your personal Goddess, and allow her wisdom to touch you.
–Use spiritual cleansing as a way to clear your energy field. Remember, you are constantly telling an energetic story, and this energetic story dictates the route you take on your map. Take a spiritual bath with salt water once a week. Use sage smudging to lighten your aura.
–Light a candle of intention. What goals are you trying to attain? What energy are you trying to invite into your life? Create a simple ritual to help attract these qualities. Inscribe a white candle with a word, or phrase that sums up your intention and anoint it with sweet oil.
A Simple Daily Blessing
On Monday gather a handful of mugwort and rue. A white candle. Lavender oil. And silver thread. Make a strong tea from the mugwort and rue. Start a hot bath, adding the tea as the water runs. Once you slip into the bath allow yourself to ground and center. Let the energy of the Divine fill you up, and wash away all negativity.
Say a simple prayer of blessing, such as, “Mother goddess, loving and divine, clear my body and my mind. Surround me with your spiritual glow, and bless me on this journey I go.”
Soak for 10-15 minutes. Then towel yourself off gently and sit cross-legged on the floor. Hold the silver candle in your hands filling it with intention. You can use the above blessing. Anoint the candle with lavender oil, and your pulse points. Light the candle.
As the candle burns, tie a knot in the silver thread for each goal, or blessing you want to bring in your life. This will act as a charm of attraction. Let the candle burn out. Keep the thread under your pillow, or on your altar.
All good journeys begin with an adventurous spirit, and a good dose of positive energy! Remember to trust your intuition and use the wonderful tools that you have at your fingertips. Many blessings to you!
